1. Clean your teeth and gums twice a day and always use a fluoride toothpaste.
2. When brushing it is best to use a small to medium size toothbrush with soft to medium multi-tufted, round ended nylon filaments. Children should brush with the same style of tooth brush only smaller.
3. Visit your dentist regularly and certainly don't wait until you are in pain.
4. Limit your intake of sugary drinks and food.
5. Have your teeth cleaned regularly by a dental hygienist.
6. Buy a new toothbrush every two to three months or even sooner if it becomes worn or splayed.
7. Flossing and brushing between your teeth and gum line is a great way to remove food particles and plaque build up.
