While our patient feedback is excellent, we are not a practice to rest on our laurels or take anything for granted. That’s why we continually invest in our skills and our practice to guarantee the very best treatments and a superb patient environment.
Over the last two years we have implemented a number of important changes to make certain our patients receive the best possible care:
- In November 2004, we appointed Dental Surgeon Lubna Alam-Orths. Lubna was brought into the practice because of her special interest in ‘holistic’ and ‘biological’ dentistry which means patients can now benefit from the use of bio-compatible materials for fillings and restorations.
- In 2005 we began work with Dental Business Consultants Jameson Management resulting in a number of operational improvements to the day-to-day running of the practice.
- A major practice refurbishment was undertaken in March 2006 to create a modern, attractive and comfortable patient environment. The building work provided new treatment and hygienist rooms, a new reception area and new consulting rooms.
- Also in 2006 we appointed three new team members: Dawn, Tracie and Zoe, joining Jill, Cassie and our hygienist Debbie.
- In April 2006 our popular Practice Manager, Angie Butler, was trained as our Treatment Co-ordinator and now discusses and arranges the treatment plans with most of our patients.
- Also in April 2006 we installed new computer software ‘Software of Excellence’ to improve patient communication, the storing and retrieving of treatment records and general administration.
- In 2006 we also introduced additional digital X-ray & Intra Oral digital camera equipment. This has added to the speed and efficiency of patient care and greatly improves case history archiving.
